Workflow: Tile ‘flags’ (Tiled)

In Tiled, a ‘flag’ property is used on Tiles in a tilesheet to mark them for a particular purpose.

Tile.flags='nonclick,impass'

TileSprite.nonclick
TileSprite.impass

nonclick means that the Tile is will not register a move-click (which is a click intended for moving. While testing using Kenney’s dungeon Sprites, I found a Sprite that arched above the ground (eg a pull up bar). Clicking on the top of the bar would have yielded a movement towards the Sprite’s location, when in fact, the player might have wanted to go to the Tile above that. So I put in the ‘nonclick’ flag to keep certain Sprites from registering a move-click.

impass means that this Tile is not meant to be moved on.
