Turning single objects to Family

This is a summary of a Scirra tutorial.

  • Create an temporary empty object (eg Sprite)
  • Put the object into a Family
  • Create instance variables the mimick the original object into the Family
  • Do the same with behaviours and effects, etc
  • Select all events (Control+A)
  • Replace object (R)
  • Select the Family
  • Add your intended object into the Family and remove temporary¬†Sprite
